Hello to those who have the courage to read me again:)
Since May 31, I am a summer course in methods Quantitative Monday to Thursday from 19 am to 22 pm My final exam is on July 6, the day before I left for summer camp at Magdalen College. I used my weekends to shop for women's clothing and small for my stay there (clothes that will also serve me when I go back, because I recently tamed and fully embraced the idea of me dress modestly, which means without any cleavage and no short skirts. I will come back eventually.:)
Otherwise, oh yes ... Youth Summit! I procrastinated so much that I feel it's been months since I came back to Ottawa! The Youth Summit 2010, the first I attended was extremely enjoyable and rewarding. The moment that struck me most was the fair booths Sunday afternoon: different religious communities and Catholic organizations had set up booths and participants, like me, could we walk, we stop and ask questions that we wanted. That's where I met Sister Mary, who is part of the nuns of the Sacred Heart, and the young Sister Vicki, who is one of five members of the new community Servants of the Cross. Whenever I meet sisters, I am amazed and delighted by their authenticity, generosity, kindness and smile, as was the case with Sister Mary and Sister Vicki. They have long talked with me about what pushed them to enter religion, their communities and teaching (teacher Sister Mary was for many years). While I listened, I was happy. If I close my eyes I can remember the feeling of lightness, serenity and delight that I had at that time. Vocation, it's so beautiful. :) I think that if only people could realize what is really Christianity, they would consider more. In short, I invite you to visit the community by Sister Mary: http://www.sshc.ca/index.htm and that of Sister Vicki: http://www.servantsofthecross.ca/
I leave you with a sublime music by Rachel Portman from the movie Nicholas Nickleby , I listened tonight. :)
