Women's Private Self-loving Sessions

Hallelujah, the holidays

One message per month is very little and is much at once.

And why?

I finished my first degree course research: basic concepts in education. I do not know if this course will change the way I teach, but it allowed me to be in the shoes of a student again. The biggest surprise I had was seeing how a course at the Masters is underway at a further degree. I had already seen the various theories of education, but never so thoroughly. I'll admit that initially I felt a little lost: the teacher employed an unknown language (no, epistemology and paradigm were not part of my everyday language), I was not sure to be at my place ( definitely younger, with little experience among people with master's and doctorate). It seems that it was the most difficult course of mastery. I cross my fingers that this is the case. My grades are good, even better than BA. I can now say I'm proud of myself.

Then I still have my contract a bit crazy: a class of second year (second week), a class of sixth grade (second week), a third-year class, a class of multi-age undergraduate and two multi-age classes graduate, that in two different schools, including a school alternative. In terms of behavior, the classes I have this year are much harder and I feel less attached children, even though I know I am appreciated. To give you an idea, there is a student in a class that starts scissors and chairs in the classroom. The art of spoiling a classy atmosphere. It's a shame not to have time to write because there is much to say about multi-age classes and the alternative school. In both cases, are pleasant surprises. I learn to push myself by teaching different things in small groups. I will try to make some notes during the holidays.

wrapping up, I am in the committee of the board of a school where I am. It must be very motivated to be part of this committee. We occupied the Christmas mail (about 1 hour each day, plus a 5 am to prepare) food drive (1 hour), a special Christmas meal (3 hours) paid in a calendar (10h ) in addition to various meetings with the board and management. I can not tell you all the trouble it gave! This too deserves a ticket soon. Have you ever bought food for 500 students? It's a funny Management!

Now, how do I take a vacation? I am very motivated by my new project! I make educational games for school. Crazy .. yes, I know! Have time to do it, it's still a nice Christmas present. But yes, I will try to rest it across to get to your destination for spring break!
