Recently we had our fire practice at school, certainly in as many schools (as it also ). We were warned that we would be entitled in the week, not knowing exactly when this would happen.
In past years, I've been pretty lucky. The first year, my students were with a specialist. The second year it happened in the hour of recreation. This year, I've thoroughly enjoyed!
The day had started a strange and disorganized. I had booked the computer room, which is in the same room as the library. I checked the schedule because I'm breaking down barriers in using the computer lab. Since there are not enough computers for each student and as I teach social studies to students in third year and fourth year in the same class, I do work at the computer graduate students year while I teach on the side of the library, social studies students fourth year. Then I do the opposite.
As everything is never easy when talking about computer room and library, got there, I see that the local library was already taken. However, the local should not be held before January. I say it's my mistake, I have not checked with the teacher, then we return to class.
Students are disappointed, but they understand the situation. A little later in the day, I check that the room is available. It is! So we take our things and go to local computer. Students settle quietly. I had prepared a computer rally on Native American craft. I began teaching my subject and my students responsible for the computer area comes to me and said: "Catherine, the website does not work." After checking ... True ... But last week, it worked!
So I say it's damn day ... A waste of time. Children are doubly disappointed. For the remaining time (thirty minutes) and only have so much damn day in the air I tell them they can go play games. Really not as educational period, but I assume it ... this time!
And that is where the inevitable happened. The alarm rang. In the computer room, there is no list of students, or posters to tell if our group is full or not. Fortunately, our room is close by, so I'm passing. It went well. In my case, students do not miss anything and have not more disorganized than they were ... So I guess it's a lesser evil!
